Done with School!

Sorry we haven't posted much lately. We've been so busy running around doing fun things! Now that school is out, we are on the go a lot. Here are some fun things we've been doing:

Promise went digging around in the garden and started a "wormery". You can't tell, but there are real live worms in this cup!


Promise finished her first year of preschool! (This was her "graduation" ceremony.) ALSO: Savannah finished her first year of middle school!


We went berry-picking... and eating.


We went to DC to enjoy the Smithsonian Folk Life Festival - and we suggest you go too!

Promise got her end-of-the-year assessments back yesterday. She got perfect scores on everything! Way to go Promise!!!!

24 days until Savannah's school ends!

And only 2 until Promise's school ends!

Strawberry Farm! Post by Promise.

On Friday my class went to a Strawberry Farm for a field trip. I had a lot of fun.

This is me and my friend running up to the farm. We were so excited!

I played in the sandbox and on the swingset.

Then we lined up to go look at the animals.




They had some cows with big long horns!

And we got to see a big horse! Horses are my favorite animal.



They showed us chickens. We got to pet one, AND they even let us hold an egg!


I got to pet the horse for a second. She was really sweet. Then we walked out to the strawberry fields!



I picked my own basket of strawberries. Mmm, they tasted good!

This was our last field trip before the end of the school year. I'm sad that school ends this week, but I had a lot of fun playing with my friends at the strawberry farms.

We probably won't have a lot of posts until Savannah gets out of school for the summer. Or the posts we do have will be a lot of Promise (because Savannah is in school all day!), so you will have to wait until June to read about us together!
